THE LAND OF GORGON

Lost and alone on a strange new planet, Archer and his band are convinced that it must be home to the "Land of Gorgon," the mythical sanctuary where Gorgonites believe all monsters can live together in peace and harmony.

But in order to find the legendary place, the Gorgonites must first explore this intriguing planet called Earth. They must learn about its fascinating people, its exciting places, and its fabulous past.... And it will be up to you to help them gain the knowledge that they will need in their quest to discover the fabled Land of Gorgon!

Gorgon is a fictional location, and the homeland of the Gorgonites.

Small Soldiers (film)[]

In Small Soldiers, Archer and the Gorgonites were programmed to look for their lost homeland, in an attempt to escape the Commando Elite. Half-way through the film, Freakenstein is seen browsing Encarta '99 on Alan Abernathy's Windows PC for Gorgon, finding only a national park (possibly Yosemite). During the epilogue, Alan allows the Gorgonites to leave on his father's model ship, sending them down-river in search of Gorgon, despite him knowing better.

Other Appearances[]

The Gorgonites' Quest (Book)

Set after the events of the movie, this book follows the Gorgonites' quest to find their homeland of Gorgon.

Top Secret Dossier (Book)

This book features a two-page spread about Gorgon, containing the only canonical description given beyond Archer's line in the movie, quoted above.[1]

Small Soldiers (PS1) (Video Game)

The Gorgonites' homeworld of Gorgon is invaded by the Commando Elite, and Archer must step up to defend it. The first half of the game is set on Gorgon, while the second half plays in Commando Elite structures.
